Loading, Unloading & Hauling Help in Tacoma | Three Generations Moving

Got your container, trailer, or rental ready? Our hands take over from there, plus junk and debris carted off per truckload.

There are days the transport end is handled and only the muscle is missing. A container could be parked in your driveway, a moving truck could be booked, a trailer could be hooked up, and what you are short on is a crew that understands how to stack it so it survives the road. To us that counts as the real deal, not some add-on. Better yet, a healthy number of these jobs roll straight into clear-out duty, because as long as we are on site we will haul off the busted furniture, the garage backlog, and the debris one truckload at a time and leave the spot tidy. Same Three Generations crew in the same uniforms you would get on any booking, parked at your container for the day, the same people dispatched for an upright or a gun safe.

Stacking a load well is a craft, nowhere near brute force alone. Turn your container or rental over to a crew doing this every single day and the space fills tighter, the haul down I-5 stays put, and your stuff turns up at the destination with hardly a scuff. The dense items go down low, wedged firm and tied off, the breakables get cushioned, and every cubic inch earns its keep, which means a lazy stack never costs you a second run. When we empty it, each item lands inside and goes where you call it, the monitors and the electronics right in the flow, and a walk-up with nothing but stairs is already figured into the arrangement. Got a heap of junk to clear besides? We will toss it on and run it to the dump.

You bring the wheels, we bring the crew, built for the South Sound

Loading these right across Pierce County, we map it to the actual conditions: a downtown high-rise that demands a reserved dock, a cramped Old Town street where a container’s curb time is short, and a soggy season that has us getting the electronics and the soft goods loaded ahead of the next cloudburst. Point out the spot the wheels will hold and we coordinate the access plus the schedule so neither a downpour nor a baking July afternoon takes over the day.

Where this service stops short

Two boundaries, no fuzz. The crew is what we furnish, not the vehicle, not the gas, not the rental paperwork on a container that belongs to you; that side stays in your court. Nothing hazardous loads, no potted plants, no animals ride along. And because the wheels were arranged by someone else, we point out whatever looks unlikely to last the haul instead of wedging it aboard and saying nothing.

What this runs

It is hourly with no minimum on the clock, so a fast load over near the UW Tacoma campus or a compact container bills you strictly for the minutes that truly elapsed, never a squandered piece of your day. Our crew comes to $140/hr for two, $185/hr for three, and $240/hr for four. Carting junk and debris away is priced per truckload, in the neighborhood of $150–$650 based on how packed the bed ends up. Hand us a ballpark on the workload and the spot the container sits, the proper headcount turns up, and the entire thing sits under $1M of cargo coverage.

Wheels are sorted on your end? Phone (888) 711-4778 and a crew rolls out to stack it properly.

What Tacoma Customers Tell Us

Fife · Google
★★★★★

“Closing on the Fife place got pushed back a few weeks, which left us with a houseful of stuff and nowhere to put it. Three Generations took the whole load into their climate-controlled storage and held it until we finally had keys, then redelivered with the same care they packed it. What they charged for storage matched the figure written alongside the move, no surprise add-on. A gap that could've been a nightmare ended up being nothing to worry about.”

Gig Harbor · Google

“Moved our 2-bed over the Narrows into Gig Harbor and the crew made the whole thing painless. They knew the bridge timing and the tight turn into our complex, got everything wrapped against the rain, and were careful with the furniture on a steep set of stairs. Flat rate held to the penny. These are good, honest movers.”

Bonney Lake · Google
★★★★★

“Three-bed in Bonney Lake, moved the week after Christmas on a cold, soggy morning, and the crew showed up on time and kept a quick pace anyway. We've got some older pieces that mean a lot to us and they handled them gently. Cole's written estimate was the final tab with zero creep at the end, exactly as quoted. We'd call them again without a second thought.”

Sumner · Google
★★★★★

“It was just a studio in Sumner, hardly a big job, but you'd never have known it from how seriously the two movers took it. They were easy to deal with, watched out for my bookshelf and the TV, and were done before I expected. The price was flat with nothing tacked on, and when my building shuffled my elevator slot at the last minute they rolled with it. Really grateful.”

Questions On This Service

The container is already rented on my end. Can you simply stack it?
For sure. Pull up the container, trailer, or rental you have, and our team will stack it, empty it, or both. Whatever is parked and waiting, we will handle it.
Are you holding me to a minimum number of hours?
There is none. The clock is what you pay for, so a compact container, even a fast load over by the UW Tacoma campus, bills you strictly for the minutes that truly elapsed.
Since you are already there, can you clear off the junk and debris as well?
Yes, that is a sizable part of these calls. We will load the busted furniture, the garage backlog, and the debris and cart it away per truckload, priced on how packed the bed ends up, so the spot is left tidy.
On the unload, will the stairs get handled for me?
Certainly. As the container comes apart, every item is carried inside and dropped at its proper room, and a stairs-only walk-up is already in the plan. Just call out where each thing lands.
